Erick Martin Fiestas Sorogastua received both his MSc degree in Systems Engineering
and BSc in Electronics Engineering from Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego, Peru, in
2022 and 2013, respectively. His research interests include, in the beginning, robotics
and then, Artificial Intelligence applied in agriculture, as well as Edge Intelligence,
Distributed AI and Internet of Things. In addition to his research, he has worked on
different entrepreneurship projects, trying to find and explode a link between
academy and industry. Erick has also worked in industry as a developer, data
engineer, and data scientist. He has worked with Big Data systems in the cloud,
implementing infrastructure in AWS and GCP, and deploying AI models in production.
