Tayasan Milinda is currently pursuing a PhD in Cybersecurity at IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca, Italy, and is participating in a research mobility program with the Data Systems Research Group at the University of Tartu. He obtained his MSc in Robotics and Computer Engineering from the University of Tartu, Estonia, and his BTech in Mechatronic Engineering from the Open University of Sri Lanka. Tayasan has held research positions at the University of Tartu and worked as a lecturer at the University of Ruhuna, Sri Lanka, gaining experience in Deep learning Techniques, PCB design, and soft robotics. His current research interests include cybersecurity, robotics, and applied machine learning.
