Jan Timko obtained his MSc degree in Economics from Charles University in Prague, which is focused on quantitative methods and econometrics. He has more than five years of industry experience in data analytics and data science. Most recently he worked as data scientist in Eesti Energia, where he contributed to projects related to time series forecasting and geographical data science. He has hands-on experience with Machine learning techniques, database technologies and building ML pipelines. His research interest is in XAI and Automated Machine Learning.
