Dr. Ahmed Awad is a senior research fellow at the Data Systems Group. Ahmed got his PhD from Hasso-Plattner institute, Potsdam University, Germany on 2010. Before that, he got his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from Cairo University on 2000 and 2003 respectively. Ahmed’s research interests are in big streams processing, complex event processing and applications thereof, especially in business process management. Dr. Awad has more than 40 publications in international journals, conferences and workshops.
